People are carrying portraits of those who defended the Soviet Union from the Nazis during World War II at a commemoration of the fallen of the Immortal Regiment in WWII. This event is being organised by the former Soviet Union community in Rome, Italy, on May 9, 2024. The 'Immortal Regiment' is being remembered by participants with old photos of their loved ones who took part in the defense of the homeland against Nazi Germany in the war of 1941-1945.
