Thousands of farmer's and supporters of the opposition Law and Justice party (PiS) took to the streets in Warsaw, Poland on 10 May, 2024 to protest the EU Green Deal. Policies initiated by the European Union to protect the environment will destroy agricultural businesses, opponents say, and threatens Polish sovereignty. Protesters marched a large sculpture of the Grim Reaper with an EU flag on its arm towards parliament but left soon after rain started.
