Mourning ceremony for the late Iranian President, Ebrahim Raisi

Iranian mourners are participating in a mourning ceremony for the late Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, who has died in a helicopter crash in northeastern Iran, in downtown Tehran, Iran May 20, 2024. The incident for helicopter carrying President Ebrahim Raisi happened on Sunday May-19th in Dizmar forest between the cities of Varzaqan and Jolfa in East Azarbaijan province as the president was returning from an event to inaugurate a dam with Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev. Local residents told IRNA's reporter that they heard "sounds" in the region a while ago.
