Reactions in Pakistan after Iranian President Raisi's death in helicopter crash

Iranian president Raisi and seven others, among them foreign minister Amir-Abdollahian, were killed in a helicopter crash on May 19, 2024, after an official visit in Iran's northwest near the border with Azerbaijan, the Iranian government confirmed. The Pakistani government is announcing a day of national mourning for May 21, 2024, to express 'fraternal solidarity' with the people of Iran following Raisi's death.
