Tamil Hindus are taking part in the chariot procession (ther) during Ganesha Mahotshava Vingnapanam Festival at the Ganesh Temple in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, on May 22, 2024. Hundreds of Tamil Hindu devotees are escorting the large wooden chariot carrying the idol of Lord Ganesh as they are circumventing the temple while rituals are being performed and prayers are being recited. The Ganesha Mahotshava Vingnapanam Festival is lasting for 16 days with specific prayers and rituals being performed each day and night.
