Animal rights activists came together in many provinces of Turkey today and protested the changes that is planning to make in the "Animal Protection Law". Initiatives, animal rights advocates and the Izmir Bar Association spoke at the Justice Rally and opposed the law. If the law is adopted, stray dogs whose population has increased will be collected, and if they are not adopted within 30 days, they will be euthanized. 2 Jun 2024
