In order to cope with the arrival of the main flood season of the Yangtze River, the Three Gorges Reservoir is currently emptying its reservoir for flood prevention. According to the Yangtze River Hydrological Network, as of 12:00 on June 3rd, the water level in front of the dam in the Three Gorges Reservoir area has decreased to 146.80 meters. It is expected that the water level of the Three Gorges Reservoir will drop to the flood control limit of 145 meters before June 10th.
