Three people shot in broad daylight in Chicago, Illinois, United States on June 5, 2024. At approximately 1:42 p.m., Wednesday afternoon on the 7500 block of S. Kingston Ave., unknown suspects in a vehicle approached three victims standing near the sidewalk, showed firearms, and fired shots in the direction of the victims. A 49-year-old male victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body and was transported to the hospital and is in critical condition. A 44-year-old male victim sustained a gunshot wound to the foot and self-transported to the hospital and is in good condition. A 36-year-old male victim sustained a gunshot wound to the arm and leg, then self-transported to the hospital and is in good condition. There are no suspects in custody.
