Wild elephants are straying in fields in search of food in Nagaon district of India's northeastern state of Assam, on June 11, 2024. Villagers are reporting sleepless nights as they try to protect their properties from the relentless elephant menace. Several homes are being destroyed and farmland damaged by the rampaging herd.
