The signage is not deterring the suspect from firing at a 49-year-old male victim, resulting in him being critically wounded in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on June 19, 2024. At approximately 8:13 p.m., Wednesday evening on the 6600 block of S. Throop Street, a 49-year-old male victim is near the sidewalk when he is being struck by gunfire in the abdomen area. The victim is being transported to the hospital and initially reported in critical condition. There are no suspects in custody.
