The water level of the Three Gorges Reservoir rises 155 meters during flood control in Yichang, Hubei province, China, July 2, 2024. It is reported that under the influence of rainfall and water from main and tributaries, at 23:40 on July 1, the water level of the Hankou Hydrographic Station in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River rose to 27.31 meters, exceeding the alarm level by 0.01 meters, so far, the whole line of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River's main stream Dongting Lake has exceeded the alarm.
