The ceremony of the Royal Barge procession is taking place on the Chao Phraya River to mark Thailand's King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun (Rama X)'s 72nd birthday, which is on July 28. The ceremony is taking place again on the Chao Phraya River on October 27 to present the Royal Kathin, or robes, to the Buddhist monk, as part of the Royal Kathin Buddhist rite ceremony.
