Mars Jupiter Conjunction

Planets Mars and Jupiter are seen in conjunction in the sky above L’Aquila, Italy, on August 13th, 2024. Jupiter satellites, well known as "Jupiter Moons", are visible next to the planet. Mars and Jupiter will meet on the night between August 13 and 14 in the constellation of Taurus. The Gas Giant and the Red Planet will create a spectacular close conjunction that – weather permitting – will be perfectly visible to the naked eye.
