Efforts to extinguish a wildfire that was started in a forest in the Yamanlar area of the Karsiyaka district of Izmir yesterday evening continue by land and air. Some neighborhoods where the flames reached into residential areas due to the strong wind were evacuated. It was seen that the fire, which spread over a wide area, burned some houses, a school and an industrial area.
