Efforts to extinguish a wildfire that started in a forest in the Yamanlar area of the Karsiyaka district of Izmir yesterday evening are continuing by land and air. Some neighborhoods where the flames reached into residential areas due to the strong wind are being evacuated. It is seen that the fire, which spread over a wide area, is burning some houses, a school, and an industrial area in Bayraklı, Izmir, Turkey, on August 16, 2024.
