A 28-year-old male victim is being shot numerous times and killed in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on August 17, 2024. On Saturday morning, at approximately 12:29 a.m., on the 4500 block of S. Champlain Avenue, a witness is saying that a 28-year-old male is on the sidewalk when an unknown suspect is beginning to shoot in the direction of the victim, striking him several times about the body. The suspect is proceeding to flee the scene. The victim is being transported to the hospital where he is being pronounced dead. No suspects are in custody. Numerous shell casings are being found on the scene.
