The plant is the largest sewage treatment plant in Nanjing and the largest in Jiangsu Province, with a design scale of 670,000 m³/d, effluent water quality up to standard rate and sludge harmless disposal rate of 100%, bearing about 40% of the sewage treatment capacity in the main urban area of Nanjing, and has been serving Nanjing for 28 years.
