It will be visible across Europe, much of Asia, Africa, North and South America, as well as the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Oceans, the Arctic, and Antarctica, according to weather conditions. Lunar eclipses take place when Earth positions itself between the sun and the moon, casting its shadow onto the moon.
