Faenza and several other localities in Romagna flooded again, for the third time in less than a year and a half. After less than two days of more intense rainfall than the May 2023 flood, with over 200 mm of rain falling in less than 36 hours, several areas of Faenza, in the province of Ravenna, North of Italy, have gone underwater. The Borgo neighbourhood, the area of the city beyond the Lamone river, was particularly affected. An area in which the weather alert had changed from orange to red on 18 September.
