Abrasion on the North Coast in West Java is particularly severe in Mayangan Village in Subang Regency, which is one of the villages most severely affected by abrasion. If not immediately prevented, the village will disappear eroded by sea water. The area of the village was previously about 300 hectares of land with 1000 people living here, but about 70% of rice fields, ponds and settlements have been lost due to rising sea levels.
