Effects of Cyclone Dana in India.

Cyclone Dana is making landfall on the coast of Odisha and West Bengal and is continuing through Thursday night, with the tail of the cyclone crossing land on Friday at 1:30 am. The IMD is issuing an alert for heavy to very heavy rain in Kolkata, North 24 Parganas, Howrah, Hooghly, and Jhargram until Friday, while heavy rain may continue until Saturday in Purba Medinipur, Paschim Medinipur, and South 24 Parganas. Many parts of Kolkata are under water due to these effects, according to reports.
