Employees of the Bayard press and publishing group are striking to protest the appointment of Alban du Rostu as director of strategy and group development in Paris, France, on November 28, 2024. Alban du Rostu is the former right-hand man of the billionaire fervent Catholic and libertarian tax exile Pierre-Edouard Stérin. The latter, a conservative businessman, is considered close to the National Rally. The unions are worrying about the consequences of the arrival of this former associate of Pierre-Edouard Stérin on the editorial line of the group
