Forest department personnel examine the carcass of an elephant at a paddy field in Kandali Gaon near Nagaon district of India's Assam state on December 12 ,2024 . Villagers saw the carcass of the elephant in the paddy field and informed the Local forest office . Villagers said an elephant herd has been starying into near by villages frequently.
