According to data released by the Yangtze River Navigation Administration of the Ministry of Transport, the cargo throughput of the main line ports of the Yangtze River is expected to reach 4.02 billion tons in 2024, an increase of 3.9% year-on-year. This is the first time that the annual port cargo throughput of the main line of the Yangtze River has exceeded the 4 billion tons mark, once again ranking first in the world's inland rivers.
