Shia Muslims are lighting fireworks to celebrate the 13th Rajab festival, marking the birth anniversary of Imam Hazrat Ali (PBUH), the first Imam and a revered figure, in Srinagar. He was born on the 13th of Rajab in the 30th year of the Elephant (600 A.D.) inside the Kaaba in Makkah.
