The NYPD Crime Scene Unit is placing evidence markers on the ground where clothing and other items are found at the scene of a woman who is found dead on a sidewalk in the East New York neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, United States, on January 25, 2025. On Saturday morning at approximately 4:35 AM, police are finding a woman unconscious and unresponsive at the intersection of Flatlands Avenue and Van Siclen Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn. EMS is responding and pronouncing the victim dead on the scene. There are no arrests at this time, and the investigation is remaining ongoing. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is determining the cause of death. The identity of the woman is pending at this time.
