A herd of wild elephant entered a village in search of food located in the Hojai District of Assam, India on Jan 30,2025.wild elephants continue to wreak havoc across the region. Once admired for their majesty, the elephants have become a destructive force, tearing down houses and properties with alarming ease.Despite the growing crisis, the response from local authorities has been insufficient. With only a small team of forest officials available, the magnitude of the situation has overwhelmed them, leaving the villagers to cope with the destruction on their own.
