Common Grass Yellow butterflies (Eurema Hecabe) are small butterfly species found in Asia, Africa, and Australia. They are typically flying close to the ground in open grass and scrub habitats. The larvae of the Common Grass Yellow butterfly are long, green, and rough, with a large head. During the pupal stage, which is usually solitary and green, they are sometimes clustering on a twig. After transforming into pupae, they are becoming translucent within four days, revealing yellow coloration and the forewings' back borders.
