The Pasta de Conchos families organization is holding a memorial service on the 19th anniversary of the catastrophe that claimed the lives of 65 miners when the Coahuila coal mine collapsed. Coinciding with the recent announcement that the bodies of miners Pablo Soto Nieto and Margarito Cruz Ríos are being identified and will be returned to their families, the event is taking place at the anti-monument that honors this tragedy in Mexico City, Mexico, on February 19, 2025.
