According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, as of the end of December 2024, China's installed solar power capacity was about 890 million kilowatts, an increase of 45.2%. The installed capacity of wind power was about 520 million kW, up 18.0% year-on-year. The installed capacity of new energy power generation is about 1.41 billion kilowatts, accounting for more than 40% of the total installed capacity of electricity in China, surpassing the installed capacity of coal power.
