On November 12th 2019 in Venice the high water reached 130cm up to the sea level, flooding different part of the city. San Marco Area is the first which got flooded as is one of the lowest in the city. Tourists and Locals must wear boots to walk around the city. San Marco Square got completely flooded and some tourists took photos to remember the day.
