The Black looper (Hyposidra talaca), or Black inch worm, is a moth from the Geometridae family, it is found in regions including India, Indochina, Sundaland, Sulawesi, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, the Solomon Islands, Thailand, Taiwan, New Guinea, and Australia, particularly Queensland. It is a major defoliating pest in tea plantations.
