Heavy snow is blanketing the city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on April 02, 2025. Toronto and parts of the GTA are being blanketed with snow ahead of an expected 50 millimeters of rain forecasted to fall over the next 24 hours. Environment Canada is saying periods of snow and ice pellets are transitioning to rain across the region with thunderstorms expected, and rainfall amounts may exceed 50 mm. The inclement weather is leading to some school bus cancellations in areas north of the GTA this morning.
