A 19th century bell tower belonging to the former Corpus Christi sacred complex burned down on 15 April, 2025. A 64 old man has been apprehended as the primary suspect of igniting the fire. The bell tower is the oldest wooden building in the historic Praga neighbourhood of Warsaw and contains two bells dating from 1772 that survived the fire. The monument will be rebuilt and renovated according to the Capital Conservator of Monuments.
