Hands off Sudan Rally in Toronto, Canada

Protesters are rallying in support of Sudan and Palestine at the Hands off Sudan Rally at Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on April 19, 2025. They are denouncing the United Arab Emirates for its ongoing arms supply, which is enabling the RSF to carry out ethnic cleansing in Darfur and commit massacres in Khartoum, Jazira, and Sennar. For two years, the people of Sudan have been enduring unimaginable atrocities and the largest humanitarian crisis ever recorded. Over 150 thousand people have been killed, 15 million are displaced, and 30.4 million people are in need of humanitarian aid. The UAE-backed Rapid Support Forces (RSF), supported by the Libyan militia leader Khalifa Haftar and the United Arab Emirates, are relentlessly attacking displacement camps and committing genocide against the Masalit people in Darfur.
