Momchilovtsi is small village nestled among the mystical Rhodope mountains. The village is famous for its 27 Christian orthodox churches and 3 Illuminated crosses that guard the village and its people. Momchilovtsi is situated near the Rhozhen meadows, where Bulgaria's largest Astronomical observatory is and close to Pamporovo resort, one of Bulgaria's top ski destinations. The region is rich in legends from ancient times when the Rhodope mingled with Orpheus songs and from nowadays, when people come here to rest their body and heal their soul.
