A devastating cloudburst on April 21, 2025 hit the Ramban town, which triggered flash floods and landslides. The cloudburst struck Seri Bagna village near Ramban , claiming the lives of three people — including two children — and damaging more than 30 houses in Dharamkund village. The Jammu-Srinagar national highway remains shut due to landslides and falling rocks, while ongoing debris clearance efforts are being hampered by persistent bad weather.
