Fukushiro Nukaga, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Japan and member of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), along with a delegation, is visiting the Tata Semiconductor Assembly and Test (TSAT) Facility at Jagiroad in Morigaon District of Assam, India, on May 4, 2025. The delegation is accompanied by the Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma. Upon their arrival at the facility, the Chief Minister is extending a warm welcome to Nukaga and the visiting delegates. School students dressed in traditional attire are greeting the guests by waving the national flags of India and Japan, symbolizing the deepening ties and mutual respect between the two nations. Leading a high-powered 50-member delegation, Japan's House of Representatives Speaker Nukaga Fukushiro is arriving in Assam.
