A cold and foggy Saturday morning was recorded in Srinagar as the minimum temperature dipped below freezing point at many places in Jammu and Kashmir. As dense fog forced many people in various places to begin their daily chores late, motorists and commuters out on the streets faced a tough time due to low visibility. Vehicular traffic moved at a sluggish pace on Srinagar roads, with many drivers preferring to switch on fog lamps on their vehicles. Kashmir valley witnessed thick fog since today morning and vehicles had to use head lights even after 9 am.
