Kashmiri Shia Muslims are carrying placards and chanting anti-Israel and pro-Palestine slogans during a protest in Budgam against Israel’s strikes on Iran. The protest is occurring in the wake of Israel's June 13, 2025, wave of airstrikes that hit nearly 100 targets across Iran, including nuclear facilities and military command centers. Among those killed are senior officials such as the armed forces chief and Seyed Amir Hossein Feghhi, head of Iran's Nuclear Science and Technology Research Institute. Similar protests are also being held in central Tehran.
