The controversial Citizenship ( Ammendment) Bill 2019 passes in Rajya Sabha of India on 11th of December 2019.According to the Bill,illegal migrants who are Hindus,Sikhs,Buddhist,jain,Parsis and Christain from Afghanisthan,Bangladesh and Pakistan will be elligble for Indian citizenship if they have entered the country before 31st December 2014.The bill leaves out any refrence towards Muslim community of the country , hence bringing a religious angle to this historical bill , causing massive protests to errupt all throughout the country as it sidelines the interest of Muslims in India and hurts the ethics of Indian constituency as a Seculer country.
