Despite the initial decriminalization of cannabis flower in June 2022, Thailand’s Health Ministry is now ordering a reversal. As of June 25–26, 2025, the sale of cannabis for recreational purposes without a prescription is being banned, and cannabis flower is being reintegrated into the narcotics framework, effective upon publication in the Royal Gazette.
