The National Guard (NG) is being created in 2019 to provide greater security at the federal level and is being attached to the Ministry of National Defense. The emergence of this institution is thanks to former President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. Today, they are celebrating its sixth anniversary at Campo Marte in Mexico City, Mexico, on June 30, 2025.
