A scorched hillside is being seen after a wildfire is sweeping through Baia delle Orte near Otranto, in the southern region of Puglia, Italy, on July 10, 2025. The blaze, fueled by strong maestrale winds, is scorching over 150 hectares of vegetation along the Adriatic coast. Two Canadairs and ground crews from the Fire Brigade, Civil Protection, ARIF, and the Air Force are being dispatched to extinguish it.
