A cargo ship is loading containers for export overseas at the container terminal of Taicang Port Area in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China on July 14, 2025. On that day, the General Administration of Customs released data statistics showing that in the first half of this year, China's goods trade imports and exports reached 21.79 trillion yuan, up by 2.9% year-on-year. Among them, exports reached 13 trillion yuan, increasing by 7.2%. Imports stood at 8.79 trillion yuan, down 2.7%.
