Bali traditional kite festival

Balinese people are preparing kites before flying them during a traditional kite festival competition at Mertasari Beach on July 27, 2025, in Sanur, Bali, Indonesia. Every mid-year, or during the windy season, Balinese Hindus, from children to young and old, are gathering on weekends to participate in traditional kite competitions, a traditional pastime in Balinese culture.
