Coridius is a genus of dinidorid bugs or stink bugs or shield bugs (order Hemiptera) or true bugs that primarily feed on sap from Cucurbitaceae plants. Most species are native to Africa and Asia, with some extending into Europe as pests. Certain species, like Coridius chinensis, are consumed in regions such as southwest China and Northeast India. Here an Coridius was sitting on a leaf and while flying away from there, it got caught in a spider's web and kept spinning around at Tehatta, West Bengal, India, on 22/05/2025.
