The 51-foot tall statue of Lord Ram is being inaugurated on the grounds of the Hindu Heritage Centre with over 10,000 people in attendance. While the idol is being fabricated in Delhi, India, it is being assembled by local craftsmen in Canada and is engineered to withstand winds of up to 200 km/h and is expected to last over a century. A shower of flower petals is marking the moment of unveiling, symbolizing devotion, reverence, and divine blessings. The statue is being a towering symbol of Sanatan Dharma in the West.
