Since the start of the war, more than 270 journalists are losing their lives in Gaza, making it one of the deadliest conflicts for media professionals in contemporary history. They are being killed in a targeted airstrike, causing indignation around the world. Major cities around the world are seeing vigils and protests as supporters of press freedom call for more safeguards for journalists working in war areas as well as accountability.
