Satya Bumi NGO, in collaboration with the Chemonk Bike Community and Journalist Indonesia Cameramen, is organizing a special campaign during Car Free Day in Jakarta, Indonesia, on August 24, 2025, to commemorate Orangutan Day. The event is bringing together cyclists, walkers, and orangutan mascots to raise public awareness about protecting Indonesia’s endangered orangutans. Imam Syafei, a participant, is saying: "This is a very good event that is held every year to commemorate International Orangutan Day. Please take care of orangutans in Indonesia, because they are an endangered species originally from Indonesia and loved by the world."
